Rachel Stratton-Mills began coaching in the Cleveland area after spending 14 months traveling the United States. During this time she had the opportunity to observe and learn from over 60 different club and collegiate programs. She brought this expansive knowledge to the Cleveland Swim Institute along with her experience over the past 15 years. Prior to her sabbatical year, Coach Rachel was the head coach of Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics (AGUA) in New York City. During her five years at AGUA she placed athletes on the US National Select Camp, US National Junior Team, US National Team plus the 2012 US Olympic Team. She began her professional coaching career as Head Coach of Team Santa Monica. Rachel believes that competitive swimming is a tool that should be used to teach athletes hard work, dedication and passion. Skills that last a lifetime.
