Kate Lundsten joined the Aquajets Swim Team as Head Coach in 2004. In her current role, she is also the Board Chair of Newjets, Inc., the non-profit parent organization of the Aquajets. Kate swam competitively for 10 years and has been a USA Swimming coach for 20 years. On multiple occasions, Kate has been selected as an assistant coach for the USA National and USA Junior National Teams. She was the head coach for the Eden Prairie High School Girls’ Swim Team for 10 years – winning 4 state titles! Kate is widely recognized as a superior stroke technician and encourages and promotes strong technic in practice. Kate swam for Minnetonka High School where she was a team captain and winner of multiple state championships. She was also a Junior National qualifier.
