David Wendkos is the owner and head coach for Aquatic Rhino Swimming. David began his coaching career after moving to Maryland in 1999. Since then he has worked at summer clubs, high schools and private coaching business focused on technique improvement for competitive swimmers and multi-sport athletes. He also has experience with coaching masters and age group levels. Coach Wendkos grew up in the Philadelphia region and began swimming at the age of 6 for Charlie Kennedy and Suburban Swim Club, and then at Emory University through his four years of college. Since then, he has competed at the masters levels as well as in numerous triathlons.
